Theory

Isothermal humidification is produced using external energy to generate steam vapor. This process keeps the temperature almost constant. Enthalpy will increase as we are introducing more energy into the system.

One of the advantages of this type of systems is that they do not produce aerosols. Other type of humidification is the adiabatic humidification.
